Fear of the Unknown

'Fear of the unknown' is something that quite a lot of us go through, without many of us realising it. Yes, i know a lot of us think its but natural to be afraid before doing something we have never done. Also a lot of us feel that its just nervousness before doing something and that some people mistake it as fear.

Like it or not , this fear is for real and the sooner you realise its presence the sooner one can start to take steps to combat it. While growing up the mind draws up certain boundaries of what is good and what is bad, of what is safe and what is not, of what to do and what not to do. We ourselves draw a comfort zone around us, even if its unknowingly. Once this comfort zone is developed, no one wants to work outside of it. This is when the problem starts and we begin fearing things we haven't done so far in our lives coz they aren't a part of our self-defined comfort zones.

I know that the jitters that one has before doing anything important are in a way important coz they help us realise the importance of what we are about to do, that it holds some significance for us.Now, it is upto us as to how we take these jitters, whether we take them in a positive sense and become even more determined to succeed, or we get scared by them and back out of the task .

Always remember, "THE POWER IS YOURS".

The Begining of a Long Journey

Hello guys, this is my 1st post.... So i didn't really know what to start off with!! When i actually heard of this idea of having one's own blog by a friend of mine, it interested me coz i've always wanted to let the world know of what i'm thinking or what interests me. And what better way to achieve this than by having my own blog!!!!! I don't expect anything much from the ppl who visit this blog but a comment once in a while would help me a lot to make this blog more interesting and worthwhile to visit again and again.Now, i'm signing off for the moment with a promise to bring in a lot of interesting things that i come across ,and also the things that i wanna talk about, to you.
